Aol "Fiber Rainbow" Poster

In 2011, Aol (America Online) included me in their roster of artists as part of a rebranding campaign. The thrust of this project was a series of posters for promotional events and direct mailers. The loose concept was "a series of interconnected tubes", part of an infamous quote by Senator Ted Stevens in describing the internet.

I worked with creative agency Manifold on  a number of different directions, ranging from internet memes to wildlife interacting with the fabric of the internet. We eventually arrived at an image of pipes in clouds being maintained by spiders. I even managed to cram in a double-rainbow made from fiber optic cables.
