Mural at Maker Media Lab

During the Summer of 2015, I created a large three-panel mural at Maker Media Lab. The lab is a workshop space that is also the public-facing center for MAKE Magazine and Maker Faire. There are classes and presentations there, along with demonstrations of new technologies like 3-D printing and DIY culture.

The mural features "Makey", MAKE's mascot and is set in a Frankenstein's monster type of environment. The Maker Media Lab is loaded with interesting tools, supplies, toys, and gadgets, and I wanted some of those items to be on display in the background.

Coloring Sheet

The Maker Media lab is family friendly and lots of kids stop by to check out the space. So,in addition to the mural, I created an accompanying coloring sheet. You can download the 11x17" sheet here as a pdf file or print the image below.
