This pin was a suggestion from Su Lee herself. You might remember that Su Lee is the proprietor of Oriental Art Gallery, a vintage enamel pin shop in San Francisco. I've been making promotional art for various items at the store, including a new sticker. After seeing my sticker design, she thought it would be cute if I made a pin of her character flying away holding balloons. I'm pretty happy with the way the balloons turned out. It's very small but the details still hold up. Each pin ships with two Oriental Art Gallery stickers and they are available here on Etsy for nine bucks. Shipping is included within the continental United States. If you can make it to Oriental Art Gallery in San Francisco's Inner Richmond district, you can get the pin even cheaper directly from Su Lee herself. She's open every day from 1pm-6pm at 1340 9th Avenue. Use the money you save to buy more of her amazing assortment of pins, patches, and miniatures.
Patreon patrons were the first to get this pin a couple of weeks ago. I mailed them out right away. If you'd like to get pins from me on a regular basis with priority availability, consider joining my Patreon campaign at the $10/project level. I send supporters things semi-regularly and I really appreciate people that make this art-object habit possible.
