One Year of TV Pins
In October 2019, I shipped out the first batch of Glow In The Dark TV pins to Indiegogo campaign backers. It was the culmination of months of a random series of events, a collaboration with friends, and a wildly successful crowdfunding effort from supportive patrons. You can read about the first run of TV pins here on my blog. Since then, I’ve experimented with many different designs of the pins and the sticker sets that come with them.
The Future Is Looking Even Brighter!
I’m happy to announce the official release of the “Woodgrain Television” glow-in-the-dark enamel pin. I’ve been experimenting with different versions of this design for the last year and I’m very happy to finally debut this official release! It’s definitely the brightest glowing TV pin that I’ve ever produced with double the amount of photo-luminescent pigment as previous pins. The Woodgrain Television pin set ships with any one of the previously released animated sticker sets or the brand new “Color TV Channels” set. The new full-color sticker overlay set looks great against the faux-woodgrain effect of the pin. The glow from the enamel shines though, so that they animate, even in the dark! The pins glow best after being exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light from sunlight or even a flashlight. Each Woodgrain Television pin set ships with a UV keyring light to help supercharge the glow while on the go.
The new “Woodgrain Television” pin is available at my store along with the “Original Edition, the “Black & Gold” edition, and the “Industrial Copper” TV pin. There is even a glow-in-the-dark Woodgrain TV iron-on patch, if you’re interested in completing the look.
