I made some album artwork recently for the sci-fi-surf-rock band Aloha Screwdriver. Their new EP is called "Above Snakes" and they were open to any interpretation of that. There's an undertone of western grit on this record and I thought maybe a traveling snake oil salesman theme might work. Then, for some reason, I got the idea that it should be in three dee.

I recently finished this custom-painted Kidrobot Munny figure inspired by my favorite Sesame Street muppet, "Mr. Johnson". He was the continually-disgruntled customer at Grover's diner. Grover, as an overworked waiter, would mess up his order every time and Mr. Johnson would be left brimming with disappointment.

My Squarespace Set-Up

I use Squarespace as my website platform and hosting service. I've been with them for over seven years and it's been great. Previously, I hand-coded html for my site and had to relearn standards every time the technology changed. Now, I just focus on the content and Squarespace keeps everything tidy.

I'm back in San Francisco, decompressing after a three-week adventure in Austria. I was invited back to beautiful Anger, Austria for the KOMM.ST "Ten Days" art festival as an artist-in-residence.
